Participated in a team development effort to create new tools and services platform, consisting of GUI design applications (Swing), services, and a client interface for loan origination systems. These configurable tools developed by this team gave consultants the ability to convey general business criteria in a graphical environment, and render that design in a server without utilizing software developers. The client, a Java swing application rendered from XML feeds, maintained state from event driven XML streams. These services ran on a Java based Jetty web application server with Hibernate and Spring with an Oracle database. Services included stateless data hydration, LDAP, and messaging to facilitate client interactions. Agile/Scrum methodologies were used to facilitate project plans. Primary duty was to write custom functionality plug-ins for the core development effort. Participated in analysis and maintenance of legacy custom loan origination systems for established accounts using Struts, Hibernate, Spring, and a Jetty web application server backed by a MS SQL Server database. Wrote custom functionality for a Atlassian Jira bug tracking system.
